Choose either a television network or newspaper known for more liberal tendencies and a network or newspaper known for more conservative reporting. . Examine both sources’ coverage of the same news story (not a column or editorial). Then answer the following short-answer questions. Each response should be one to two paragraphs. What differences do you notice between the two sources’ news coverage? What evidence, if any, do you find of political bias? What effect do you think this bias has on readers or viewers if it does exist? Consider the role of the media in delivering news to the public.
