Retail Sales & Profitability Analysis (2014–2017)

I completed a comprehensive retail sales analysis project examining four years of transactional data from 2014 to 2017. After cleaning and preprocessing the dataset to ensure data integrity, I performed detailed analysis to uncover revenue patterns, profitability drivers, and customer insights. Key findings included a significant end-of-year sales surge from $59.8K in February to $352.5K in November, Technology category contributing 51% of total sales, and the critical discovery that discounted orders generated only $34.6K in profit compared to $321K from full-price orders. I designed an interactive dashboard with KPI cards and pivot tables for executive-level visualization across three focused pages. Based on these insights, I provided strategic recommendations including implementing a maximum discount threshold below twenty percent, bundling strategies, and targeted regional marketing to optimize profitability.
