Dashboard Design Description: Customer Buying Patterns & Bakery Performance Analysis I am able to design and deliver an insightful, well-structured analytical dashboard that explores customer buying behavior, monitors key business KPIs, and identifies high-performing baked goods using the provided dataset. 1. Objective of the Dashboard The primary objective of the dashboard is to transform raw transactional bakery data into actionable business insights. The dashboard will enable stakeholders to: Understand customer purchasing patterns over time Monitor sales and performance KPIs at a glance Identify best-selling and underperforming baked goods Support data-driven decisions related to pricing, inventory, and promotions 2. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) The dashboard will clearly display essential KPIs at the top level for quick decision-making, such as: Total Revenue Total Number of Orders Average Order Value (AOV) Total Quantity Sold Top-Selling Product by Revenue and Volume These KPIs will be dynamically calculated based on filters such as date range or product category. 3. Customer Buying Patterns Analysis To analyze customer behavior effectively, the dashboard will include: Purchase frequency analysis to identify repeat vs. one-time buyers Time-based trends (daily, weekly, or monthly sales trends) Peak sales periods to determine high-demand days or times Product preference patterns, showing which baked goods are most frequently purchased together Visuals such as line charts, bar charts, and heatmaps will be used to make trends and patterns easily interpretable. 4. Product Performance & High-Performing Baked Goods The dashboard will highlight product performance using: Revenue by product Quantity sold per baked good Contribution percentage to total sales Top 5 and Bottom 5 products based on revenue and volume This allows identification of: High-performing baked goods that drive most of the revenue Low-performing items that may require promotions, reformulation, or removal 5. Interactive Filtering & Exploration The dashboard will support interactivity to enhance exploration, including: Date range slicers Product category filters Individual product selection This allows users to drill down from high-level KPIs into detailed product or time-based insights. 6.
