Project Overview:
Develop and optimize a smart, sustainable plant-care product using modern green technologies. The product focuses on reducing water waste, improving plant health, and offering users real-time insights through sensors and automated systems.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement IoT features for plant monitoring (humidity, temperature, soil moisture, and light).
Integrate low-power sensors and microcontrollers to ensure energy-efficient operation.
Build a backend system to collect, store, and analyze sensor data.
Create a mobile interface (Android/iOS or Flutter) to display real-time plant status and notifications.
Implement smart alerts for watering schedules, soil dryness, and plant health indicators.
Work on sustainable material selection and eco-friendly product design principles.
Ensure the entire system is scalable, reliable, and easy for users to set up.
Technical Skills Needed:
IoT development (ESP32/ESP8266, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or similar).
Experience with sensors: soil moisture, DHT22/11, LDR, water level sensors.
Backend development (Node.js, Express, or Python).
Database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, or Firebase).
Mobile app development using Flutter or React Native.
Understanding of green/sustainable tech concepts.
Knowledge of power management, low-power circuits, and renewable energy integration (optional).
Target Outcome:
A fully functional eco-friendly smart pot system that automatically monitors and improves plant health while helping users reduce water waste and enhance sustainability.
