This paper entitled “What leads to post-implementation success of ERP? An empirical study of the Chinese retail industry” was published on October, 2009 by four authors; Yan Zhu, Yan Li, Jian Chen; who worked together at Department of Management Science & Engineering, School of Economics & Management, Tsinghua University in Beijing, and Weiquan Wang who is working as an associate member at Department of Information Systems, College of Business, City University of Hong Kong. The study points out the feasibility of ERP Implementation and the economic benefits and profits, which Chinese retail industry achieved beyond the successful administration of the ERP system. The study is entirely devoted to the analysis of the collision; no matter how much and no matter how it is stated about the success of the implementation. It also clarifies the weak points, which the retail industry in China has compared to the same industry in Europe so that stakeholders and decision-makers recognize the factors driving the industry and affecting its course.
