📡 DHCP Server Configuration – Cisco CSR1000V The Cisco CSR1000V router was configured to function as a DHCP server, automatically assigning IP addresses and network parameters to hosts within the internal network. This reduces manual configuration and ensures consistent network management. ⚙️ Configuration Overview The DHCP service was enabled on the router to dynamically allocate IP addresses to clients connected to the LAN segment (192.168.2.0/24). Key configurations included: Defining a DHCP address pool specifying the IP range, subnet mask, and default gateway. Assigning DNS server addresses to allow client name resolution.
